March
11th
It's the weekend again! And due to schedule changes at work, I get a 3-day. What a treasure, considering I only work 2 days and then am off for vacation in P.E.I. Can't wait!

So I have some bad/mixed news, which is that Merina lost her job yesterday. She was working at an internet pharmacy that had sold itself to a larger entity, which is the sort of thing that happens in that industry. Luckily she was of the few that were offered a new (similar) position, but after 3-years of this type of work... well all I can say is that if it were me, I'd really be up for a change. It's also only a few short months until she'll (and me! hopefully...) will be starting back at school. By the sounds of it though, she also only has the weekend to decide what happens next.

I picked up Megaman Zero 3 the other day, after pretty much vowing to never buy another Megaman game as long as I've lived. The X and Battle Network series' have gone way down the drain, and after playing Zero 2 I was expecting very much more of the EXACT same from it, but it's turned out to be a little better. I think I really just needed a platformer to play, but I'm enjoying it. Maybe I should also pick up Zero 4 soon, before it goes out of print.

Anyway, it's snowing out, everyones really up except for me and Merina's parents are over so I should think about getting ready and junk. Hopefully I'll have more excitement to report once the weekend is over.

I just couldn't play Megaman Zero 3. It was way too frustrating. It also felt as though playing on my micro was making it even harder.

I started playing it on an emulator, and it definitely does seem harder on the micro. I'm almost at the end though, good ol F ranking all the way. Seems like it would have some replay value overall.

Oh yeah, and I beat Shantae today. Still have a few things I want to look for, but I'll bring it home with me. Your savegame is still on it.

You made it to the end??? I literally couldn't beat more than one or two levels. But then I gave up pretty quickly.
