18th I'm home! Yes!
It's been so very nice since I've gotten here. The air is so nice, and I think my health has even improved (except my knuckles...). Maybe I was just anxious about the trip though. Could be.
So Merina and I got here Thursday afternoon, and spent a bit of time around Charlottetown and the rest of the island before heading home. By that point I had gotten around 2-3 hours of restless sleep since 6:30 the day before. But it was just too exciting.
Yesterday we spend some of the day just lazying around, and put Merina on a little tour of Summerside. I don't think we did very good at it, because it was a little rushed for how big it is. Saw all the main points though. Old houses we've lived in, the subway, the mall, the boardwalk and water. Maybe a more scenic walk around town would be a little better.
Now I'm just waking up on day 3... It's funny how it feels like I haven't been gone almost a whole year (not counting the 2 weeks in summer). I know for sure this visit is going to go by quickly, so I've got to enjoy every second of it. I'll try to record the more interesting bits as we go along.
