16th I just got back from meeting up with Mark, as he's in town for a conference on, as he put it, garbage. It was really awesome seeing him again. And it's been 7 years! I was really happy to see that he's still pretty much the same guy I remember (but all grown up and stuff), and we spent a tonne of time reminiscing about the old highschool days and the fort, and just life in PEI in general. It feels so good to just finally catch up. I guess there's even a posibility that he will be in PEI sometime in August, which would be totally rad! I'm already pretty excited :) So Mark, if you happen to read this... you'd better be there!
In other news, I'm going to be putting in my 2 weeks notice at work pretty soon, like... nearing the end of June. I think there's a few things and people that I'll miss at work, but overall... I'll be pretty damn happy to go.

24th Weekends officially over after extending it with a sick day. I've had a cough for a few days and a cold off and on, and it got bad enough to keep me up all night. Combined with the heat (right now) I'm actually sorta miserable. It's so humid in the prairies! What's up with that!
Saw "The Hills Have Eyes" at the cheap theatre on Saturday. It was okay for a horror movie, really dragged at parts. I'm also not convinced that mentally retarded nuclear fallout people can be as cunning as they were in the movie. The fact that I was also hopped up on sinus medication when I saw it may also have contributed to it being better than expected...
Sunday (or was it Monday?) we had a good bbq of bison burgers and then Nathan, Merina and I went over to Meagan and Derek's to watch The Shining. Merina and Meagan had never seen it, and it was just as good as I remember it.
So now it's way too late for me to be up, I've got the fan on full force and it's boiling hot in here from the 32 degree weather and humidity. Where's a beach when you need one? :|
